Starlets

Parent/Child
Pre-K Program
Starlets is a preschool where parents and children can participate together. The preschool sessions meet once a week during the school year, with a licensed teacher. Early literacy and math skills are emphasized, using the Houghton Mifflin Pre-K Curriculum, to provide children with foundational skills for success in kindergarten and beyond. Families have the option of an introductory home visit in August, and each child enrolled in Starlets also receives a developmental screening during the school year. The Starlets Program is free and open to all families in the Maize School District with a child who is 3 or 4 years old when the school year begins.
