History Day

This year's theme is Innovation in History: People, Ideas, Events. Students in grades six through twelve are encouraged to select a local, national, or world topic that deals with this theme. Regardless of the topic chosen, students should consider the significance of their topic in history. In addition to presenting a description of their chosen topic, students should examine their topic's influence on history and draw conclusions about the ways in which their topic had an impact on the course of events and on individuals, communities, nations, or the world.
