Chris Botts began his career in education at Complete High School Maize as a math teacher in 1999. In 2007, Chris became the associate principal of CHSM . He received his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University, master's degree from Baker University, and is currently working on his district level license and doctoral degree from Kansas State. Chris was recently nominated as the Area 4 Assistant Principal of the Year. Chris is also heavily involved in teaching Maize Online math courses for the district. In his spare time, Chris likes to spend time with his family and friends, golf, keep up to date with fantasy football, and work on keeping CHSM a top-notch dropout prevention program.

Kristy Custer began teaching at Complete High School Maize in 2001. Previous to that, she taught English and journalism at McPherson High School. Kristy graduated with an associate's degree from Butler County Community College, a bachelor's degree from Wichita State University, a master's degree from Baker University, and she is currently working toward her doctorate at Kansas State University. At CHSM, Kristy is the assistant principal/career coordinator. Kristy enjoys the one-on-one time she can spend helping students in the classroom and likes that each student is dealt with on an individual basis at CHSM. Her goal is for every student to be on a path to a fulfilling career by the time they graduate from CHSM.

The woman behind the scenes, Kathy Anderson ; our beloved Secretary. Kathy came to us from the stuffy business world in 2000. She enjoys interior decorating, gardening, her family and friends. She and her husband, Ron, have two children. Gillian, a graduate of Kansas University with a degree in social work. Gabe is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a degree in biology. Kathy enjoys working with the fantastic staff and students.

Michelle Hilliard joined the CHSM family in 2007. She began her teaching career in Maize in 1994. She has taught a variety of grade levels. Michelle graduated with her bachelor's degree from Wichita State University, and obtained her master's degree from there as well. She teaches math at CHSM. Michelle loves the small environment at Complete. She appreciates the opportunity to help students one-on-one. Michelle enjoys reading and loves spending time with her family.

David Jantzen came to Complete High School Maize in the fall of 2005 to teach social studies after ten years as a special education teacher. He had also served as assistant football coach for Campus and Valley Center High Schools. David holds a master's degree from Emporia State University and a bachelor's degree from Bethel College. David enjoys working at CHSM. He says that it is nice to have a job where he can look forward to coming to work. His hobbies include riding his motorcycle and playing guitar with his church's praise band.

Nermine El Khatib   is the new Para at CHSM. She graduated from the University of Kansas and is currently working towards her teaching certification in Secondary Education for Social Studies.  Nermine says, "I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of the students at CHSM."

Heidi Albin is the new science teacher at CHSM. She is very excited to be a part of the CHSM family and looks forward to meeting each student. Heidi received her bachelor’s degree in Cellular Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University. She is currently working on her Master’s degree. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys hiking, fishing, singing, playing her piano, and catching creepy crawly things..

Sheryl Tillery is the Business and Speech teacher at CHSM. Sheryl enjoys working with the staff and students at CHSM. She says that they have all made such a positive impact on her life. Sheryl enjoys scrapbooking and rubber stamping. She and her husband, Ronny, have a son, Kyle who keeps them more than busy with his hockey, dirtbike riding, and soccer. Sheryl attributes her love for teaching to the staff and students at CHSM.
